Light sensitivity to the eyes with glaucoma

I am 17 and I have glaucoma and my eyes are also extremely sensitive to light. I was wondering for the light problem if i should i switch to tinted lenses in my glasses? for the glaucoma, How do i slow down the process from becoming blind?

I would recommend that you see your eyeMD to determine the cause of your light sensitivity. Is it from an ocular condition, such as inflammation or a side effect of medicines you are taking. Seek the care of a glaucoma specialist to determine how best to treat your condition.

My doctors have told me in the past that light sensitivity has nothing to do with Ocular hypertesnion or Glaucoma, instead is due to light eyes or larger pupils.
Please advise
