Lost His eyes

Dear Team,

My father has lost one of his eyes and the second one is also not in a good health.
I beleive that it cannot be placed by another eye meaning (if an eye is donated it will not help also).
My question is what is the latest technology that replaces the eye, since i have heard that a digital camera is
being placed.

There are electronic maculas and also digital cameras with electrodes implanted in the brain. It is nothing like normal vision. Still experimental and done in only a few centers. You would have to track it down on the internet. I believe its only done for people totally black vision blind.
