Lost contact lens after prk surgery

Hi,
I have done a prk surgery nine days ago. The first night after surgery the contact lens works as a bandage detached from my eye due to too many drops and tears i guess. I was already given  from my doctor another pair of such contact lenses, so i replace the one lost of my right eye.

Since day 5, i have a very good and clear vision on my left eye and it is getting better day by day, but my the right eye is not that good. It is a bit blurry, something like having a dry or at least not clean contact lens on top. The vision is not that good. I was wondering whether this problem could be related to the fact that i replaced the contact lens by my self and perhaps i did a mistake ( for instance i have infected my eye, or i put some pressure on it and the changed the shape of the cornea just few hours after the surgery).

Many thanks

Thanks doctor.

So do you think that the doctor can now see (day 9) whether i have infected my eye or damage it when i replaced that contact lens in day 1, a few hours after the surgery? If it is infected and thats why blurry, do i need to have another surgery or it can be treated with meds?

Many thanks again

You need to contact your surgeon.  The healing period is critical and usually the cornea heals in about 4 to 5 days and the contact lens is removed.  At first the vision may be blurry, but it will slowly get better.
