Lost eye sight in accident

This query regarding my 19 year old sister. She lost her one eye at the age of two years. A stone hit her eye and he suffered blood clotting for two weeks then. After that everything look normal. We couldnt notice untill he turned fifteen and she suffered frequent headache durnig preparation for 10 th class exams. Now she is doing Graduation. We are much worried about her future. Please advise us if any advancement in the medical technology which can bring her eye sight back. Also advise us about the type of reports you need for your observation and conclusion. Is there any hope for her. I am from India. Do you have any reference in India/

The post from hava is a complete waste of time and will do nothing for anyone other than to squander 60 minutes and create false hope.

I do not know "the best Eye MD in India". There are many, many that are excellent. Perhaps your family physician could help. Or you could do a internet search.

This exercise will help with the eye. Do it and you will start to notice results after 4 weeks. Please come and report back.
Anulom Vilom –
Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril
then -keeping the left nostril closed  deep breath-in through right nostril
then - close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Repeat this cycle for 20 to 30  minutes twice a day(maximum 60 minutes in one day).
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs. You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.

Kapalbhati -(Do it before eating) Push air forcefully out through the nose about once per second. Stomach will itself go in(contract in). The breathing in(through the nose) will happen automatically. Establish a rhythm and do for 20 to 30 minutes twice a day.(Max 60 min/day) Not for pregnant women. Seriously ill people do it gently.

Sir, That's true. But the case being critical I thought of making the best effort to know the chances of getting her eye sight back. But if you have any specific recommendation of the best doctor in india  that could be of great help for me to start with.

India has some very fine eye surgeons that do world leading research. Most are affiliated with medical schools in the large cities.  See if you can arrange to be seen by an ophthalmologist at a medical school

IF the eye is totally blind (no light perception) it is highly unlikely that anyone anywhere can help her. The important thing is to concentrate on saving the good eye whick means wearing protective glasses and having yearly exams.
