Lump in eyelid
I have developed a painless lump (approx. 3/8" diameter) in my upper eyelid.  It's located halfway up from the lash area.  Is this likely anything to be concerned about?   Don't want to waste the doctor's time (and my time and money) if this is a common occurrence in 70 year old eyes.  Thanks for response!

The most common cause is "chalazion".. Use the search feature and read about this, Google in to read more,  use Google IMAGES to see pictures of chalazia. There are other causes but not common.

See an Eye MD ophthalmologist for a complete exam and a definitive diagnosis.
