Macular Degeneratio

A friend and I are both in our early 60's and are taking arimidex post breast cancer.  She has recently been diagnosed with early Macular Degeneration and believes it may be a side affect from the arimidex.  Comments?

I don't believe she is correct.  I will continue to do more research in the literature, but I have found no evidence to support her claims.  I know tamoxifan (tamoxifen) had some very rare instances of retinal problems.  You should both consult with your oncologists to discuss the situation and have a dilated retinal examination with an ophthalmologist to make sure your eyes are healthy.
