Macular Hole

Today's two months since I had macular hole surgery in my right eye. The Amsler grid appears slightly wavy,
The gas bubble's dissipated, my vision has  improved slightly, now I  can read the first two lines. Will I have further improvement in my right eye, how long before I can test for new glasses.

Vision often does not return to normal and the amsler usually does not look perfect after macular hole surgery. Depends a lot on how big it was and how deep into the retina it went.  Glasses usually do not help the distortion (metamorphopsia)
