Murky Tears

Why are my tears murky? I'm 22 years old. I was watching sad and I cried, then I noticed that my tears were kind of seawater in appearance. Much like milk mixed with water but not that white. I don't feel any swelling or itchiness. But I do get the subtle burning sensation or itching when I stare at the screen for a long time, it goes away when I wash my face. I cried on two more separate occassions to check if I still have it and I do.

Is this something serious? I'm really scared. I hope it's just dry eye but I'm really scared it's something worse.

Are there any ideas to what could be causing this at least?

It's probably not a big deal but you should make an appointment with an ophthalmologist to have a full exam and make sure nothing is wrong.
