I am 27yo female and have been wearing glasses since I was 7yo.  I also wear contact lenses when going out to nightclubs.
I am having a problem with the amount of pressure i can feel coming from behind my eyes.  it feels as though my eyes are being pushed out.  I have naturally large eyes to start with but lately people have been telling me that they appear bigger.
Someone has told me to have my thyroid checked as i am constantly tired, thirsty and last year i lost about 17kgs in weight rather quickly and without dieting.  could all of this have something to do with my eyes being sore all the time.
Also, i am a secretary so i use a computer everyday.

From the symptoms you describe, thyroid is possible.  You need to see both your primary care doctor and an ophthalmologist.
