My son has cylindrical power in both eyes

Thank you doctor for you kind answer of my question.
My 6+ years son has cylindrical power in both eyes with right -2.50 and left with -2.25 and he can read the
chart with right eye from 6 meters which normal eye canbe readed from 9 meters and with left eye from same distance which normaly can be readed from 12 meters. he is wearing glasses constantly for last 5 months.
My question: 1, is he suffering from  Amblyopia?
2, what is the best way for his treatment?

Best treatment is glasses full time.  I do not know if he has amblyopia but it is a possibility.  Please ask his doctor whether he has amblyopia and what is being done for it if he has it.  Make sure your son wears his glasses.
