No it puts her vision in focus. WIth the type RX she has the eyes cannot work clearly together. Most time the brain will favor LE and RE will become amblyopic. Myopia development and progression is not affected by glasses. The glasses RX follows the myopia. Outdoor activities (ideally hour/day or more) has been shown to reduce the progression of myopia. Goggle and read about it. Get her outdoors.
That is a start. That is a full glasses RX but it is important to know the vision with and without glasses and whether she is having any symptoms such as blurred vision, eye strains, squinting, etc. If you have doubts the best best is to get a second opinion from a different eye MD ophthalmologist.
Just looking at the glasses RX it is far more likely she DOES need the glasses than does not to prevent the RE from developing amblyopia.
There is not enough information to answer your question. That is only part of a glasses RX. You need to post a complete glasses RX (sphere-cylinder-axis) and you should know the vision without and with glasses.
