Mypoic Degeneration and Periphal Retinal Degeneration

I already had cataract surgery  with IOL and also Yag Laser to open the capsule. Female , 56 yr old. Will I have
frequent progressive eyeglasses changes?   When, I was at the retina clinic, I could not see the last letter on the snellen chart for 20/25, in my better seeing eye.

It depends on whether your myopia was still progressing before your surgery.  If not, then you may need little eye glass tune-ups like anyone else.  Your eyes may be a little slower to settle down after cataract surgery, you may not reach your stable final prescription for 3 or 4 months.
