NEED YOUR ADVICE AND SUPPORT REGARDING MY EYE PROBLEMS

As of now I am 32 years old Male working abroad having Indian nationality,  I have far sightedness problem for both of my eyes since was 9 years old boy and use to wear power glasses till was 20 years old.   Later on switch over to Soft contact lenses till was 30 year old.  In the later stage heard about LASIK and consulted doctor in India conducted a test to ensure if they can carryout LASIK laser and learned that the corneal thickness is very thin and cannot be able to do so.  Later on as per doctors advice I switch over to use RGP contact lenses.  Again I consulted the doctor after a year in 2006 and he advised to go for LASER SURGERY BY REPLACING THE NATURAL EYE LENSE WITH ARTIFICIAL ONCE and the same surgery was conducted for my left eye after performing several tests on June 2006 (before the surgery right/left eye power was -17).  After the surgery I am not satisfied with my vision and doctor prescribed the -0.75 / +2.5 VAREELEX PLASTIC power glass for left eye and -14 power RGP contact lenses for right eye even then the near sight for left eye was not satisfactory and doctor advised it will be good over a period of time.  After 9 months of surgery, slowly very low cloudy vision and now after One year of surgery a very low double vision and a very low multiple images in operated left eye started and as of now I am facing problem while driving the car.  Then I contacted one of the eye specialists in abroad where I work as of now and he advised to clean the left eye lens and advised to conduct the same in my home country in India .  I am really very much confused, worried and upset.  Hence, please advice and need your help to come out of the problem

Because you were highly nearsighted you already have an increased risk ot a retinal detachment and that risk is now higher since you had your natural lens removed and replaced.  You probably now have a cloudy capsule behind the implant and this can be fixed by making an opening in it with a laser in the doctors office.  However, that will further increase your risk of a detachment so I would recommend that you first get an evaluation from a retinal specialist to see if you have weak areas of your retina that could be treated with a laser.  this will decrease your risk of a retinal detachment.  The chances are you will do well but take your time, treat only one eye at a time.
