Need reputable surgeon with Crystalens experience recommendation

I am in my late 20's and have cataract on my right eye and traces of cataract on left eye.
A little background is that my opthamaligist is reputable according to his background and experience.
The reason I am asking for this referral is because I am seeking a second opinion.
Since my consultation went by rather quickly and the MD seem to think there are much more risk to use Crystalens  due to my age and the cataract I have. So he would recommend the Monofocal IOL.
Which seems plausible to avoid complication.

However, the brand or the choices of the lens were not discussed,
MD was only just going to tell me what to get and I am going to get better, no worries, that's it.
I had to brought up Crystalens myself and ask questions. I understand MD are busy, but I am going to have to live with this IOL for the rest of my life. So I do want to seek second opinion.

Any recommendation in Houston, TX? Or how to find out which surgeon has done alot of Crystalens and their success rate?

You can find an ophthalmologist that does refractive cataract surgery at www.geteyesmart.org   You find out the experience and success rate (whatever that is) by asking the surgeon.

Success is not the same as uncomplicated surgery. Some people, and these forums are full of them, have had perfect operations and good results but are unhappy because they thought they would never have to wear glasses for anything again and would see like they saw at age 16.

75  is enough.  While your age  makes it more likely you will need yah laser you are not at increased risk of dislocation.

btw the surgeon only did about 75 cases of Crystalens, is that too low to consider him as a surgeon.

Again, reputable surgeon. Probably just prefer monovision IOL for most of his patients.

Not really worry about the result part, since the way I see it is the worst it comes I am at par with using monovision lens.

I am worry about am I more prone to Crystalens shifting out of place and in needing of post op surgeries (YAG & Lasik) due to my age and the specific cataract I have.
