Need suggestion for Keratoconus eye disease

Hi,

My Brother is 19 yrs old suffering from Keratoconus disease in both the eyes. In left eye, vision (Power is -20) is not very clear. In the Right eye (power -3) he had undergone ICL (Implantable Contact Lens) treatment some days ago. When we consulted doctors some of them are say we have to under go “Cornea Transplant Surgery” and some of them say go for ICL / Intacs treatments. We need some opinions for this disease. Please help me to undergo best treatment. (As he is just 19 yrs old, we are afraid of going for a Cornea Transplant Surgery).

Please help me..

This is a very complicated problem.  I am sorry, I can not be of assistance.   My best recommendation would be to see a few corneal specialist then decide.
