Nevus in eye in Michigan

Hello...can anyone refer me to a surgeon that would be willing to look at my eye for removal of a benign nevus in my right sclera?  I understand that this is out of pocket yet I have gone to an opthalmologist and retinal specialist and am being offered no hope of removal, any advise would be great and thank you!  It is affecting my self-esteem and I would like it removed:(

Hello....I am also in MI.  My daughter is scheduled to get a nevus removed from her sclera at the Kellogg Eye Center in Ann Arbor, MI (University of Michigan).  The specialists there have been highly recommended to us.  Hope that helps!  DD

Yes its a great facility. One of their world famous oculoplastic surgeons Bartley Freugh MD just tragically died in a fall down some steps coming out of a building.
