Night and Day Vision?

by slim1984, Nov 05, 2009 02:22PM
Is it possible to require a higher prescription at night as opposed to the day since there's less light and it's slightly harder to see at night?

Yes.  People who are mildly nearsighted often function well during the day without glasses but notice increased blurring, especially of road signs, at night.  This is due to the larger size of the pupil, which causes a nearsighted prescription to become slightly stronger.
