No insurance for cataract surgery

I'm 36 years old and had cataract surgery on my right eye over 6 years ago.  Now my left eye is acting up and I do not have any insurance since I got laid off over a year ago and have not been able to find work.  I'm concerned about driving since my vision is so distorted in sunlight.  I'm wondering how bad will my vision get and are there any options for me to get the surgery done without insurance...like payment plans or something?

Thank you,
Jenifer

A teaching program?  What is that?  I'd really like to have an experienced doctor performing surgery on my eye.
