Nodular Episcleritis

Nodular Episcleritis

I am 23 years old now and have had a small lump that looks like a puss ball in the white part near black part of my both eyes. Also, my eye is always red (except when using medicine like FML, FML Neo, Occupol D) and irritate mostly. I am suffering from 2009 in initial stage it was only in my left eye but from 2010 right eye have also been affected.  I have been consulting with many doctors but they said that I have affected by allergy and they usually prescribe FML, FML Neo, Allercrome, Occupol D, Moisol, Tear Plus. In the initial stage my eye sight was correct but after 4-5 months of starting treatment eye sight power was lowered and doctor prescribe to wear a glass of power -0.75 in left and -0.25 in right eye and last week doctor prescribe me to wear a glass of -1 in left and -0.25 in right eye. and last time doctor said it that I am affected by Nodular Episcleritis  without any test except seeing and said that it does not be curable. I am also afraid of the side effect of these medicines. Is this right? If so how should I do. Give me suggestions, please.

nodular episcleritis is often chronic and/or recurrent in one or both eyes. It is often associated with systemic disease such as rheumatoid arthritis.  You may need to see a rheumatologist to rule out systemic disease. You should see a cornea eye MD ophthalmologist. You may need oral antiinflammatories, topical steroids or topical non-steroidal antiinflammatories and of course frequent monitoring of the condition and watching for drug side effects.
