Not pink eye, no allergies, then what?

Hi how's it going? Not too good for me. My left eye has been red only in the corner, it looks like my eye is really strained. It's been going on for about 2 months. I've seen 2 different opthamologist's about 4 times all together. The first doctor didn't seem concerned about her patients; she just looked in my eye for 1 minute and gave me a sample of blink artificial tears. The other doctor just prescribed me to Ofloxacin. I've been prescribed to anibolic steriods a while ago  (very, very expensive) and they didn't help. The blink drops obviously don't help too much either. My symptons are:  constant redness in left eye, the sun burns my eye, the wind makes my eyes get teared up, I sometimes get spasms in my eyes (like a twitching sensation). Im hoping this is nothing to serious, but you guys be the judge.

If I were you I would call the doctor who gave your the steroidal drops and tell him that they haven't helped. He should know what the next step should be. It doesn't sound serious to me, but then again, I don't like that you have the same symptoms over such a long period of time.
My daughter had a reddish eye, but it was the entire white of her eye, and the doctor said it would go away on its own, and it did but it took about two months. She still uses the lubricating drops and says they help.
