Ocular Migraines

Have experienced ocular migraines for over 40 years.  Usually occurs in one eye and lasts 20 minutes from start to finish with no residual effects.  Could have one a month, one every six months, two in a week, and then go a year without any.  Usually thought of these episodes as an annoyance rather than an "affliction." Last weekend, experienced three right after another, alternating eyes (each lasting 20 minutes with roughly a five to ten minute interval). Immediately following a headache (affecting the eyes, temples, and top of head) developed and has continued for 2 full days now.  Have tried regular Tylenol, Robaxin, and finally resorted to Tylenol 3 -- none have worked.  Is this normal?  Could this be a sinus headache which developed coincidentally?
