Ocular hypertension - Is LASIK possible?

Im considering having Lasik to improve my vision but a couple of years ago i was diagnosed as having high eye pressure, it has not lead to glaucoma (my Grand mother had it).
Would this prevent me from getting Lasik...... i also have astimatism.

Thanks!

Glaucoma or ocular hypertension is not an absolute contraindication to lasik but it makes checking the intraocular pressure less reliable so increased emphasis has to be placed on other tests such as optic nerve eval, OCT and VF
