One eye ball is smaller in compare to other

Hi doc,

I'm 28 yrs old guy from India. I have a problem which is affecting my life, confidence and my career. My right eye ball is smaller in compare to left one since birth. because of this my looks are not good. And hence I couldn't have confidence. I'm crossing age of marriage and still finding hard to get a bride. Giving a picture of my eyes so you may understand my problem better.

Please help me and tell me if this problem can be cured? By operation or transplant or any other way? I'm suffering mentally since my teens. Please docs advice something for my future and my life. I don't wanna die alone.

Regards,

I've uploaded a pic too here - http://s3.amazonaws.com/medhelp_images/posts/2744140_fs?1207467223.png for knowing the real look of my eyes.

For some reason the picture will not download. You still do not need to come to the USA for quality care. India should be fine. Work with ophthalmologists in your country to get your to the best person.

Thanks for your reply, doc. Really appriciated.

Sir, I'm not sure it's ptosis or not because my right eye ball is really small size than left one. And also it is able to see only about 5% of what left sees. I'm posting a clearer picture this time to give a better idea of my problem. Please advise if any surgery, cosmetic or ophthalmologiclly can cure my problem.

Thanks in advance sir.

here's a better pic of both eyes. - http://img356.imageshack.us/img356/8931/72340619bk4.jpg

I've looked at your picture and you appear to have "ptosis" where the eye looks smaller because the upper eyelid hangs down further than the other side. Use "search" and also Google to read about Ptosis.

See an Oculoplastic surgeon, a Eye MD ophthalmologist that does eyelid surgery to talk about raising the lid.
