One eyelid swollen/drooping due to stye??

Hello,
I have seen my eye Dr. twice about my left eyelid that hangs down lower than my right eyelid.  He said I have a stye (obviously not a huge inflamed one) and to use warm compresses on my eye.  Well, it's been almost a whole YEAR!  I tried the compresses, that did nothing.  I could never get the washcloth warm enough for a long enough time to seem to make any difference.  When I went back, he gave me Azasite to try and help the problem.  Again, that did nothing.  I HATE how my eye looks.  I am only 35 years old and I feel like I'm 50 now.  My face is no longer symmetrical (my Dr. said, "it's not that noticeable")  It is!!!  Is there anything else I can do?  Any other suggestions?  My OD said it was a chalesian??? and likely NOT an active stye and it would probably never go away.  HELP!  Thanks a bunch.

Thanks for your response.  Do you think that if the Chalazion is surgically removed the swelling and droopiness look will go away?  Will the chalazion ever go away on its own?  I am pregnant and will likely have to wait until after baby is born in September if the surgery would require drugs that could pass to my baby.
Thanks again.
Feelin' droopy.

Chalazion do not respond to hot compresses like a stye.  They need to be surgically removed.

See another ophthalmologist.
