Optic Nerve-Different Sizes

I recently had an eye exam and the Dr.  told me that I was no longer farsighted but nearsighted but that it wasn't bad enough to warrant glasses.  She gave me a RX for my dry eyes and also told me that one of my optic nerves is smaller than the other.  She is having me return in a month to do some more tests.  What could possibly be wrong?  I am in pretty good health.

Dear Tiffnvrhome,

I would recommend that you seek the care of an eyeMD to determine whether this asymmetry is of concern.
