Optic Nerve Head Drusen - source of pain?

Optic Nerve Head Drusen - source of pain?

I was diagnosed with Pseudopapilledema caused by ONHD when I was 11.  I had pain/pressure behind my eyes and so I was off to an ophthalmologist.  After many tests and an MRI to ensure there was no tumor, they concluded that ONHD was the culprit.  The pain went away and everything was fine until 18, when my vision started deteriorating - primarily my peripheral vision.  Fast forward ten years later and just recently I started having that same familiar pain/pressure behind my eye.

Is this normal for ONHD?  Or could this be something else?  My only reason for concern is that I have been fine for years (in terms of pain), and out of nowhere, I start getting the same thing I did as a child.

Any feedback appreciated.

Thanks!

ONHD does not cause pain.
