Optic nerve damage

I went to get new glasses, the women told me that I had a severely pale optic nerve. She said that it could be nerve damage but was not the most likely cause for my debilitating migraines. So why did she tell me I needed to go to the doctors. I don't have insurance and am a little worried but I don't really understand any of the information I have been reading online. Some places say don't worry others say it could be bad. The headaches I have are horrible and I have at least 4x's a week.I am really concerned now, I thought it was just from needing new glasses but now i'm confused. Please help

You really need to see an EyeMD.  A pale optic nerve and headaches could be due to a brain tumor, temporal arteritis, etc.
