Orbital Decompression

I am having bulging eye problems for about two years due to thyroid eye disease. It seems that the thyroid eye symptoms have been decreased and it is in a stable stage now. I have been to Mayo Clinics and New York Presbyterian Hospital for the disease and discussing surgery options. The doctor at Mayo Clinics only does bony removal decompression which has higher risks and the doctor in New York does fat removal decompression but there are a lot of complains about him and the his stuff are so rude. I am more interested in fat removal decompression since my CT scan showed that there is increased orbital fat without restrictive myopathy.  Therefore, I am looking for a second opinion and possibly the best doctors who do the fat removal decompression surgeries in the states. Please advice and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  If possible, please let me know the names of the doctors and hospitals.

I would recommend that you seek an eyeMD in oculoplastic surgery under the find an eyeMD section at AAO.org.  Call their office and determine whether they do the procedure you are interested in.
