a quarter of a diopter is not going to make any difference. .75 or more would make your eye tired from having to focus extra to neutralize the excess minus lens
Would an over correction be bad? Like if let's say I switched it would an over correction make my eyesight worse or something in the long run?
Hi thanks for the response. I am wearing the ones he gave me and I honestly can't tell the difference at all. The only reason I noticed it was when I was reading off the eye chart the smallest letters. It seemed the left eye was a bit clearer so he put the lens over my right eye and asked if it got smaller I said yes he told me it would be over corrected then I should just leave it and I prob won't notice any difference and I really don't so I'm prob just gonna stick with what he gave me
As the numbers get bigger the minus lens minify more. That's why myopes generally see better with contacts than glasses the image is larger with contacts. You've looked through a -2.25 and a -2.50 ask for the one that is the clearest and most comfortable. Most people can't tell the difference.
