PVD left eye

I need adice on PVD  for my left eye. Can I  play golf with this condition. My  specialist says I  should not take  a full swing as it might cause a tear on the retina. Please advise

If you saw an Eye MD ophthalmologist physician then I would heed the advice; if you saw a non-MD non physician optometrist then I would see a Eye MD physician.

Usually golf is not restricted in PVD unless very very high risk factors.

Good, anyway my golf pro tells me "swing slow and easy" on all swings, the golf pros say "60% even on the driver"

Hi Dr.John Hagan,
On the first 1 Feb I had a Vitrectomy on my left eye. I have a gas bubble  in my eye. The treating opthamalmolgist says I should get my full sight back within 2 weeks as the gas is absorbed. I had one large tear on the retina another small one.
I am seeing him in a weeks time. Will keep you posted.

Best Regards

Terry
