PVD with hemorrhage

PVD with hemorrhage

I am 52 years old with myopia. I had fall down and after 4 weeks, I suddenly had PVD with hemorrhage. i was told by Ophthalmologist that i could have retinal tear/ detachment in 2-3 weeks. 3 days ago, i had new onset a lot small floaters, i knew that could be new hemorrhage. i am worry about retinal tear/detachment. i 'd like to know what is the chance % that I could have this bad luck?

Very Very Appreciated for answer this question.

There are no studies to give you an exact percentage.

Thank you very much for your help!

Is PVD with hemorrhage that indicated retinal tear/detachment ( that very small could not see by Ophthalmologist) or will tear/detachment in the near future?

Thanks again!

You can have a hemorrhage without an RD, in fact that is quite common.

If I am lucky, I don't have RT/RD in the future, my PVD with hemorrhage that take me how long time to have normal activity include occasionally to lift 20 pound? or no lifting heavy stuff forever?

Thank you very much!
