Pain in eye

This morning I woke up with pain in my left eye. I am a 22 year old male, and have no previous problems with my eyes. I have 20/20 vision. It kind of feels like someone punched me in the eye almost. My eye seems to be very slightly blurry and i cant quite open it as wide as my other eye(barely noticeable). There is not discoloration or anything in my eye, its not even bloodshot. Any idea what it could be? Do I need to make a Doctors Apt? Thanks for the help.

Pain is very worrisome especially with sudden onset. Yes call an Eye MD for an exam. Find one near you at www.aao.org
