Pain in left eye

I woke up this morning and my eye was fine but shortly afterwards, I felt as though something went in the eye and it started watering.  The eye now is still scratchy as though something is in it and it keeps watering every so often.  I currently wear contact lenses and when I took them out yesterday, my eyes were fine.

Do not put your contact lenses in today and go see an ophthalmologist immediately (before the weekend) to make sure you do not have a corneal ulcer brewing.  This is very common in contact lens patients and can lead to serious problems if not treated right away.  You may also just have a corneal abrasion but you need to get it checked.
