Pain in my left eye.

What's up Michael J Kutryb this Elijah, I have a question for you I have been reading this music industry book and I have been reading for hours and hours I take breaks but after the break Im right back reading the book again. The Second day of me reading the book my left eye was hurting me for like 5 to 10 seconds then it goes away. I was not worry about it because I felt like it was from reading so hard because I was really focus on reading the book. But Then on the 4th day it started to worry me because now my left eye hurts for 5 to 10 seconds here and there even when my eyes are close. It's going on 5 or 6 days my left eye been hurting me here and there for 5 to 10 seconds. What I wanna know is is it something to really worry about or it will go away? Please help me because Im getting real worry and scared right now.  Elijah.

Start by buying a bottle of artificial tears.  Genteal Moderate is a great first choice.  Use a drop every hour or so and when you go to bed at night.  If reading a lot, you can use it very 30 minutes or even more often if you need to.  Take a break and put a cool damp cloth over your closed eyes every once in a while for another relaxing break.  Make sure to drink plenty of good water and take a multivitamin and omega 3 fish oil supplement if you can handle it.  If your symptoms persist, unfortunately you're going to have to see an ophthalmologist to make sure there is not something more serious going on.  Good Luck.
