Pain when blinking only in one eye

Pain when blinking only in one eye

I'm a contact lenses user. Last night I went out to some places with lots of smoke and etc so I would expect some eye redness in the morning. And in fact I noticed it but no pain or stinky eyes when waking up. However I have this impression in my right eye that when I close it or blink it It hurts me like It's something in the eyelid hurting my eye. I looked in the eye and in the eyelid for some dust or object that could be causing that , but I didn't found any. However I noticed that in the eye that hurts, right above the iris there's a vessel that's touching the iris and It's in the zone where It hurts (I can blink without hurting if I look to the side while doing, if the vessel is causing it it's probably because while looking to the side the eyelid isn't pressuring the eye like it is when the iris is looking forward.).

I really don't know what is this but I'm tired of having to look to the side so I can blink painless "/ Any suggestions?

Leave the contacts out and call the ophthalmologist or optometrist that fit you.
