Pars Planitis

Pars Planitis

My husband was diagnosed with Pars Planitis 5 years ago. He started oral steriods but was still partially blinded for three months. He was then given steroid injections and the symptoms subsided until about a year ago. He has been given the injections in both eyes but his vision keeps getting worse. I guess I'm just wondering what else can be done since his body is rejecting the injection? Is it possible for his vision to be restored?

Ask your retinal doctor about an Ozurdex implant.  It can be done in the office and the effect last between 3 to 4 months.
