I am taking methotrexate for my inflimation in my eye i was wondering will i have to take this for a few years or months. Also is it possible i might have to take this for the rest of my life. I have a mild case of pars planitis and i dont want to have to take methotrexate for a long period of time.

Pars planitis is a chronic disease that can last for decades and can destroy vision. You need to stay on methotrexate as long as you need it. Discuss your concerns with your physicians next visit. There is also an increased incidence of MS in pars planitis patients.
