Part II of question for pathlogic myopia for Dr. Hagan

Dr. Hagan, previously you had told me that it looks like I have degenerative myopia. Is degenerative myopia just another name for pathologic myopia? Its hard to tell from doing a web search, it looks like every web site has a different defintition fo each! Thanks again for your help

Many mild and moderate myopes have some degenerative changes in their eyes that affect the peripheral retina that have no bad implications for vision. So pathological myopia is not the same as mild, or moderate myopic degenerative changes.
