Peeling!!!

HI, for about 4 months everynight my eyes itch a lot my  conjuctivas get really swollen that look like a bubbles of water,i can barely open my eyes since they are so swollen and my upper eye lid  peels off. when i wake up  my eyes are completely closed, because of all the secretions and my eyes throughout the day feel irritated and very sensitive to light.  i have completely cleaned my room, mattress(bought a new  mattress) and desinfected everything, but this happens everytime im in a room near bedtime or just laying in bed, this week happened in the middle of the day while i was taking class.what could this possibly be??

This sounds like an allergy with all the itching but I am not certain if it is primarily of the skin or of the conjunctival covering of the eye itself.

Allergies can be from so many things including any skin creams or make-up, dust, feather pillows, fabric softener, detergent with scents, plant oils, newsprint, and many more. Consider these things and try to avoid them and see if you improve. You can use simple soaps like Ivory or Neutrogena all without scents. Use Dreft or simple Ivory laundry detergent only. Get some 1% Hydrocortisone Cream over the counter and use it on the skin three times a day. Cool compresses of ice cubes with water in a ziplock bag with a moist washclothe around it helps alot.

It would be great to see an eye MD ophthalmologist and be evaluated and consider anti-inflammatory prescription eyedrops as well. This is a medical problem so medical insurance would probably apply.
