Over the past month or maybe longer, I have thought our home lights are flickering -- dimming for about a second and then returning to normal. I believed this to be a house electrical problem, but my husband consistently denied seeing the lights dim and he never reacted at the times when I saw the lights flicker. Still, I thought he just did not want to pay an electrician. But today in the supermarket I experienced the lights dimming, and nobody around me reacted. So I am now concerned that I have a medical problem. This happens once or twice a day, almost every day. I have no pain when this happens and I do not notice any other problem except the dimming of light. It is the same perception as when a cloud briefly covers the sun.
