Peripheral vision

Peripheral vision

I don't really know how to describe it and it happens very rarely... It's happened tonight, while playing volleyball, where peripheral vision is an asset.  The problem?  I've noticed this distracting effect which looks pretty close to seeing something kind of "kaleidoscopic" in my side vision... It's hard to describe, but every time it's come along it's only around my peripheral vision and not at all in my direct line of vision.

This discussion is related to Eye problem- floaters, loss of peripheral vision, flashes of light.

1. Use the search feature and read the many posts about "eye migraine" or "ophthalmic migraines"
2. See an Eye MD ophthalmologist as while the most common cause is eye migraine (without headache) it can be due to disease of eye, brain, heart, blood vessels.
