Permanent solution for Thyroid eye disease

Permanent solution for Thyroid eye disease

I have gone through immune suppressant therapy this past summer for T.E.D. It seemed to really make an improvement on the swelling and pain along with the constant tearing. Now I have been medication free since Sept. 2010 and it seems the pain has returned when moving the eye and the swelling is starting to slowly creep back. I do know one eye has been affected more then the other. Is there anything else that can be done besides pumping my system up with extremely high doses of steroids? Also wondering why it seems my vision in general seems to be getting worse in one eye.

You need to see your EyeMD.  Sometime orbital decompression surgery is needed.
