Persistent Swollen Under the Eye

Well, this happens to my mum who is currently 46 years old, unaware of having any allergies, do not suffer from any systemic disease except for MNG with normal T3 and T4 levels.

Before she acquired this swelling under the eye, she had reddening, mild pain and itching of the eye for a day, which lessens after her daily jogging. However, the swelling (which extends from under the eyelid to the level of alar of the nose) has been around 6 days. It is painless.

Can someone please give the possible diagnosis and treatment for this condition.

What is MNG?  She should see an ophthalmologist.
