Pigmentation of sclera - not caused by birthmark

I'm 23 years old. I had a problem of having a brownish pigmentation in the left eye of my sclera since young and I knew it well it was not a birthmark. My mum told me it was caused by a minor accident where i was being accidentally pushed to the altar where joss stick were place and subsequently being poked by it. Initially, the brownish pigmentation did not appear. However as time goes by, it became more and more obvious to the extent i was brought to various specialist to have a detail observation for my eye by my parents. It was claimed by eye specialist that's a mole/pigmentation where it's irremovable. Right now, with the advance development of scientific as well as medical technology, I am wondering if I can use the way of laser to remove my pigmentation. Can any expert suggest me with a constructive answer?

Please let me know if I you get an answer, mine is dark red and rather unsightly.  I"m 25 and have had it for 16 years.

Generally these are not treated and not covered by insurance as the procedure is considered cosmetic. Get in to see an Eye MD for a proper diagnosis and a discussion of options.

Hi,

I am 32 years old and I am from India. I have recently found a grey-blue pigment of approximately 1 mm on the white part of the eye. It was not present since birth. Apart from that I do not have any vision problems. Please could you advise if this could indicate a serious problem.
