Please Help! Is this Ptosis

Hello, My son is 7 weeks old and has one eye smaller than the other. Here's a picture. His lower lid on the affected eye has only one crease. Can anyone tell by looking if the eye looks abnormal, if so, is it Ptosis or some other condition?

You son shows some mild ptosis.  I would not recommend treatment.  Many times this resolves as one ages.  The only way to tell if this is associated with any other systemic conditions is to have an eye exam by a pediatric ophthalmologist.


My granddaughter at age two has a mild ptosis.  I have not recommended treatment nor an exam.  I have close to a 1000 photos of her and some days it is more noticeable.
