Poked eye issues?

I recently poked my left eye on a thin stick. There was discomfort at first but it was fine the rest of the day. The next day it really hurt and teared up a lot and was sensitive to sunlight. After going to the doctors he saw now signs of tears or scratches and gave me some drops. Two days later it feels fine but the injured eye's pupil is smaller than the other one and there is just ever so slight blurrying in that eye. It is only noticeable if i read something and close the other eye. Could this just be minor nerve damage that will heal or could it be permanent?

See a different Eye MD ophthalmologist. Blurred vision and small pupil size are not normal. Find one near you at www.aao.org
