Possible eye infection?

I have a sinus infection and noticed a throbbing pain behind my lower eye lid after three days. When I looked in the mirror, there was a large amount of yellowish-white pus on the corner of my eye, and when I pulled the lid down, it was really red and puffy--and there was more of the pus in there.
   Did the infection of my sinuses spread to my eye, or is this not a big deal?

That appears to be a conjunctivitis and you should see your personal MD or an ophthalmologist. Generally antibiotics drops are used and work better than oral antibiotics.
