Post Phakic IOL questions

Hi there, THANKS for help with 2 issues:
I am 48 y/o female, otherwise in exc health. I had -19.5, -22.5 and d/t microvascularization and very dry eyes couldn't wear soft lenses any longer...and got lens implants that were -16, and now my vision is -2, -2.5.

I used to have monovision, & would double only when tired. Since implants, I am doubled from early AM.  The surgeon commented that the vision was improved so much, my brain couldn’t turn off the inferior image.
1) I got prisms (the MD wanted prism of 15, could only take 6, split up between two eyes) and they hold vision single for about 30 min.  I’ve been r/o for surgery—won’t help this type.  I went to an eye exercise optometrist, he seemed nutty and said: this may not help, you can try it for a lot of $$, not covered by insurance.
Can I do anything about the doubling?

2) What should I do about the blurred vision? Can I get Lasix? My ophthalmologist says it might increase dry eye, but can be done.  Since the procedure, I don't need lacrimal plugs and use drops less often. Should I get glasses that have the myopia correction, and use the prisms just when I need to be single? Or, should I stay blurry and use the prism glasses that I have now (they have the correction) when I need them?? Any other option?  What about contact lenses that hold fluid?

I’m mostly concerned about what’s healthiest, but the QOL is important…if it doesn’t increase risk.

Thanks, I've seen two, they both wanted to use high prisms but I can't wear those for more than a few minutes, and both agree I don't qualify for surgery, d/t the way the eyes diverge.

I was wondering if anyone knew anything else that might help.
The strabismus docs agree it's there, and bad, and say they are sorry.
Maybe someone has another option?
