Post Retina Detachment Question

Hello,

I had my Scalaral Buckle  RD eye surgery about 3 weeks back. I am in the process of recovery, have few questions:

1>When I look at some of the object (e.g. Stop Sign), I can not clearly read but when I blink I am able to read some of the text and also I can read more clearly some of this text pass Noon time than early in the morning, is this normal ?

2>I am not able to read some of the text during low light (late evening) vs what I can read during mid day ? is this normal

-Thanks

I have another question:

1>It has been almost 4 weeks of my RD surgery, how long will it take to reduce Glare in my operated RD eye ?

You are having a tear film problem which should get better.  You may need more light to see and this should get better.  It is best to discuss these concern with your surgeon.  I do not know how severe your retinal detachment was.
