Pressure In left eye with headache !!!!!!!!!

For a couple of months now my wife has been complaining of feeling pressure in her left eye and getting a headache in her left temple. She went to her PCP and he sent her to an eye doctor. The eye doctor checked her eyes, and only said that he couldn't see what might be causing the pressure feeling and headaches in her temple. Does anyone know what could be causing the pressure feeling and headaches. I told her to go see a eye specialist, but its not covered by our insurance and bills are tight right now. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. I am tired of her rubbing her temple and pushing on her left eye.

One sided-headaches always call for an investigation of migraine or cluster headaches.  You can google these terms to see if either look familiar to you.

I recently started having Left temporal pain, pressure in my Left eye and bloodshot Left eye.  This is my second time having these symptoms and both times appeared after a significant amount of stress.  I was sent to an eye surgeon who dilated my eye and the only thing he could come up with was Temporal Arteritis, but says that I am just too young to have that.  So I was not treated.

Ask your personal MD to refer her to an ophthalmologist Eye MD. You should get the same coverage as when you see any other type of MD. Also rule out sinus disease
